Custom Engine Builds

Short Block Assembly

The foundation of any high-performance engine starts with the short block. We blueprint every short block we build — precision honing, careful clearancing, and meticulous assembly ensure your rotating assembly is balanced, reliable, and ready to make power. We work with a range of bore sizes, strokes, and compression ratios to hit your exact targets.

Long Block Assembly

Our long block builds take the precision of our short block work and carry it through the entire engine. Cylinder heads are prepped, ported if required, and assembled with quality valvetrain components. Camshaft selection is dialed in to complement your power goals and operating range. The result is a complete, dyno-ready engine built to perform.

Dyno Testing

Every engine that leaves Vector Speed Co. is dyno tested before delivery. This isn't just about peak numbers — it's about verifying the build, breaking in the engine properly, and ensuring everything is operating exactly as it should. You'll receive a full dyno sheet with your completed engine so you know exactly what you're working with.
